Painting 2020-2025
Painting Artworks
In my paintings from 2020–2025, the female body occupies a central role as a carrier of memory, transformation, and resistance. I work with figurative forms, often distorted, unsettling, yet sensual—bodies that tell stories inscribed in the skin, scars, and gestures.
Color in my work serves both an emotional and symbolic function—I juxtapose vivid oranges, purples, and reds with muted flesh tones to create tensions between strength and fragility, visibility and disappearance.
Feminine themes appear not only in the subject matter but also in my approach to materiality – I paint intuitively and in layers, working closely with the material, often using textiles, reclaimed canvases, or industrial paints. Femininity in my practice is not a form but an experience: embodied, ambivalent, sometimes brutal, sometimes tender.
My works from this period can be read as a kind of visual diaries in which the boundaries between painting and textile, document and myth become blurred.
